IranCell delays to enter Bourse

“Before the replacement of Turkish operator TurkCell with the African operator (MTN) as Iran’s Second Operator the Economic Council had approved that 21 percent of MTN-IranCell shares be deposited into Melli Bank and Post Bank accounts and after two years of operation be offered on Bourse,” Barat Ghanbari told Mobna news agency.
 “After the replacement, however, it was decided that the 21 percent deposit was offered on Bourse via operator’s domestic partners,” he added.
“MTN-IranCell should prepare to sell off its shares on Bourse and any delay will be looked into by RCRO,” he said.
IranCell is a private company whose major shareholders are SaIran and Mostazafan Foundation which are non-governmental.
