Information Technology a tool for economic reform-Competition Council president

“Information Technology is a key to economic reform and can play a vital role in targeted subsidies,” Jamshid Pajouyan told Mobna news agency.
He believed IT should be evenly available to public so that the tax system would improve.
“Communication and information technology are tools that lead to economic transparency,” he added.
“The technology should not be looked upon as a luxury but used for economic progress,” he said.
In the economic reform bill presented to Parliament, the tax system will undergo a radical transformation.
