“The meeting was positive and we are now awaiting RCRO decision,” Saber Feizi told Mobna news agency.
Rafsanjan Industrial Cooperative has been a contractor to the Taliya project since 2005 and 57 percent of Taliya’s gross income have been paid to TCI, a Government organization, but the sum is to be paid in future to TCI new owners now that the company has been privatized.
However, RIC has not been able to fulfill its commitments because it has not had the anticipated Government backing.
The general meeting of the privatized TCI is due Nov 30 to appoint new board of directors.
Experts believe that once Taliya restrictions have been removed, including ban on a foreign partner, the value of TCI shares on bourse will increase.
