Nokia Iranian activity not ceased: Nokia Iran manager

“With the present Iranian mobile market situation, the activities of all authorized companies are now at minimum level but this would not cause Nokia authorized agents to stop their activities,” Ali-Reza Shafipour told Mobna news agency.
“Nokia agents in Iran nowadays import mobiles in limited quantity because of high import tariff and widespread smuggling,” he added.
“However, the company is intent on increasing its Iranian market share,” he said.
At present, 95% of the Iranian mobile market is taken up by low-quality smuggled mobile sets.
