Mobile set laboratory launched

“The laboratory is currently being equipped,” Vida Sina told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
She said the equipments have been procured from foreign sources, and the aim of the laboratory is to test the performance of mobile sets against world standards.
She added that no financial backing has been forthcoming from IRIC, which could help speed up the laboratory’s launch.
IRIC authorities had earlier announced that the laboratory set up would require 5 billion rials fund, and the Iranian Institute of Standards and Industrial Research has given it initial consent to such a laboratory.
