RCRO is the telecommunications ministrys regulatory body which regulates the phone operators conduct in the country and issues their work license.
“According to the recent official figures so far eight foreign and domestic companies have bought tender documents,” RCRO public relation head Mohammadreza Farnaghizad told Mobna news agency.
“Time allocated for the purchasing the third mobile phone operator tender documents will finish on 4 October and the time will not be extended. Other applicant companies should buy documents in remained time,” he added.
Selling off the tender documents have started as of 13 September and will continue until 4 October. Participants can provide their documents for quality evaluating by Radio Communication and Regulation Organization up to 26 October.
According to the revised version of tender announcement date for providing first stage documents will be on 26 October and date for announcing first stage results will be on 8 November.
Also date for providing proposition packages will be on 29 November and date for opening packages will be on 30 November.
Third operator can attract 17 million subscribers comprise of six million calling subscribers and 11 million data subscribers.
Third operators initial investment is estimated 300 million euros.
Third mobile phone operator will be a rival for current operators. Its presence will lead to decreasing service prices and increasing network quality.
This operator will offer 3G services.
