Sony Ericsson mobile sets surpassed Nokia sale in Iran

“Currently Nokias mobile sets with original warranty are 400,000 to 500,000 rials (42 to 53 dollars) higher than Nokias sets with fake warranties,” market insider Amin Hoseini told Mobna news agency.
“But this price difference for Sony Ericsson is at least 70,000 rials (7 dollars), thus Sony Ericsson sets have been welcomed,” he added.
“Previously Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and LG had ranked first to fourth in Iran, however in current situation and due to the issue of warranty Sony Ericsson has surpassed Nokia and has ranked first,” he added.
Among most sought after sold Sony Ericsson sets are K810, K320, K310, K800 and J110 and in next category among most sold Nokia sets are 1200, 1208 and 2610 Nokia.
Samsung E250 and D9001 followed ranks.
 Gradually some mobile sets produced in East Asia are hitting the market which is imported via illegal means and since warranty has not any place in Iran so these sets have been welcomed by Iranian consumers.
