GPRS and mms services fee decreed

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is communications service which uses packet technology to send data via networks. Multimedia Messaging Service (mms) is a standard for telephony messaging systems that allows sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text) and not just text as in Short Message Service (sms).
Telecommunication Company announced that maximum fee for GPRS service in postpaid mobile phone network has been decreed 14.8 rials (less than a cent) for per kilobyte digital data.
Mobile phone operators can offer different packages for GPRS service considering its maximum fee.
In addition maximum fee for mms service has been decreed 1000 rials for transmission per mms.
