“There has been low reception for the South Korean mobile set and it seems it’s no challenge to the existing famous brands on the market,” Hamid-Reza Monji told Mobna news agency.
“It may not enjoy the same reception as Nokia and Sony Ericsson but it has its own group of customers,” he added.
Monji added that, in view of the current 25 percent import tariff, his company intends to introduce this year another 3 models to its existing models on the market.
Emad Semiconductors has been under a contract to the Ministry of Industries and Mines since March 2006 to manufacture 2 million mobile sets annually.
