Another Vertu model is Platinum Solitaire which costs 220 million rials (234,000 dollars) in Tehran mobile sets market.
The unit is covered with white gold and ornated with two carat diamond.
However, and despite the hefty price tag these sets carry they lack of features like camera, Bluetooth and even memory card.
Retailers believe that these phones only have attractive design and their hefty price tag is due to their uniqueness among other brands in the market.
