While non Persian font sms had risen to 222 rials (fraction of a cent), Persian messaging software has been planed to launch to promote Persian messaging, but downloading the software onto mobiles has been confronted with a technical problem.
The new decree states that in order to support Persian Language, Persian font sms fees has been decreased to 89 rials from 10 March 2008 and the non Persian sms fees has been increased to 222 rials from 21 June 2008.
