Telecom shares on TSE; delayed yet again

Privatization Organization chief, in conversation with MOBNA, said the delay would continue until the Cabinet of Ministers endorse the sale, whose session will be held next Wednesday.
Gholam-Reza Heydari Kord-e Zangeneh said, however, that if the sale is not endorsed the delay would continue.
In last Sunday’s meeting of officials and representatives of Privatization Organization, Iran Telecom and Tehran Stock Exchange, they declared in writing their agreement on outstanding issues and the text was sent to the Cabinet of Ministers for endorsement.
Korde-e Zangeneh had confirmed after the meeting that all issues had been resolved.
Tehran Stock Exchange chief Ali Rahmani had earlier declared that the delay was due mainly to non-registration of Iran Telecom and failing to sort out some of the issues concerning shares of Iran Telecom.
