Telecommunication block share to be sold in international marketing: official

“Privatization Organization will market the sale of Telecommunication block to either domestic or international buyers and is not limited for a specific country,” Seyyed-Mahdi Oghadayi told Iran’s mobile news agency (MOBNA).
“Currently the precise date to offer Telecommunication block share is not determined and it depends to Privatization Organization marketing,” he said.
“According to law we can offer Telecommunication share by 2025,” he added.
“After Privatization Organization marketing Telecommunication share sell off date will be determined,” he continued.
Telecommunication Company of Iran after Oil Company is the most profitable governmental company.
So far 30 percent of TCI shares have been sold off and 50 percent should be sold as block form.
