No mobile network disturbance expected in Gilan Province – over New Year holidays

“With the 15% increase in network safety we expect that in next year New Year holidays we shall have a better network coverage compared to last year’s,” Ali Nemati told Mobna news agency.
“Gilan Province population is evenly distributed and its mobile network is quite capable of handling extra burden caused by holidaymakers,” he added.
“The province has a switching network center with 1.8 million numbers and over 630 BTS sites and can cater for 500,000 numbers daily,” he said.
At last year’s New Year holidays between 250,000 and 350,000 numbers on average used the province’s mobile network daily.
