“In the present situation, there is no way that these sets can compete on the market with the smuggled-in famous foreign brands,” he added.
“Domestic mobile producers have sustained great losses already and if the trend persists their activities would cease completely,” he said.
“The only way to improve the situation is to cut mobile import tariff,” he suggested.
