“The license fee will be paid soon by Datak,” Shahram Fatehpour told Mobna news agency.
“Datak currently holds Wimax network license, but in order to continue its activity next year it has to obtain permission from RCRO,” he added.
“The Wimax project has started on the basis of a contract with Samsung Electronics which will be launched in Tehran by the end of this year,” he said
“The service will be offered next in Karaj followed by other provinces next year,” he added.
RCRO granted Wimax license to 4 companies, namely: Mobin Paya, IranCell, Espadan and Rayaneh Danesh Golestan last year and before that to 4 PAP companies.
The 4 companies of Datak, Shatel, Laser and Dade Gostar Novin are allowed to offer Wimax service at previous rates until the end of this year but are required to pay a new rate next year.
