Iran to hold first international symposium on telecommunication: organizer

“For the first time in the world all telecommunication sectors, in both mechanical and social, will exchange views and experiences,” symposium’s manager Hamid Gheydi told Mobna news agency.
“The symposium will be held with the aim of creating opportunities and influencing current world telecommunications, which could also enhance Iran’s world standing,” he added.
He said Tehran University’s society for Cultural and Telecommunication Studies has so far declared its moral support for the move, saying: “We hope all of the country’s governmental and non-governmental agencies would come forward to hold the symposium in the best possible way, which would also bring about greater scientific credit to the country.”
